No No No

It seems as though the brilliant minds over at Harper's Bazaar decided to take a day off and allow Lindsay Lohan's face to usurp every inch of the cover. This picture might not truly convey how intense the cover is, but if you happen upon it in the aisles of your local grocery store, you will truly understand why I was frightened of it. It's not only the sheer size of her face but also the look she's giving. Kind of like a "If I had any energy left in me, I would devote it to sucking the life out of anything around me." Perhaps I'm reading too much into it. I admit that I haven't had the time to take a peek inside the magazine yet, but I'm perfectly content on judging first impressions. Especially this one since it'll be the sole source of all my nightmares this month.

Recent Purchase/ Current Obsession

On rare occasions, an item will cross my path that hooks my attention and will not let go. This shoe would be that item. I came across it on a random website but I hesitated a bit too long and the next thing I knew, poof, it had completely vanished from the website.  I then went on an extensive hunt, a little too extensive, and I finally found it on shoe.com. Though I haven't found the right occasion to wear them yet, I bask in their glory every time I see them.

The mafia never looked so fetching

Though the freshly premiered dramedies 'Lipstick Jungle' and 'Cashmere Mafia' are both clumsy attempts at recreating 'Sex and the City,' 'Cashmere' had turned into my Thursday night guilty pleasure while 'Lipstick' just makes me...sad. My first gripe with it: Brooke Shields. Need I say more? My second gripe is its attempt to be serious. At least 'Cashmere Mafia' concedes to its vapid nature and embraces it. And there's one more thing that makes 'Cashmere Mafia' ten times better than 'Lipstick': the clothes, of course. Patricia Field has definitely not lost her knack and I find myself constantly swooning over Lucy Liu's outfits. Though her clothes can be outlandish, everything ends up looking chic on her.

Spring Trends: From Runway to Reality

Seems as though the tagline "bold is beautiful" is behind many of the trends seen on the Spring '08 runway. The bold neon colors and feathery details may be fun to drool over but if taken straight from the catwalk to the streets, there is the great risk of looking more clownish than cool. Here are some suggestions for incorporating these trends into your daily wardrobe.
